“Fill” - add enough mixer to reach the top of the glass.

"Dash" or "splash" - just enough to add a little coloring or taste.



Metric Conversions

Metric conversions within the metric system are easy because the whole metric system is based on 10ths. You may find some recipes that may give "3 cl" as a measurement. Looking at the chart below, you will find you only need to add a "0" after the "3" and you will have the "ml" measurement - "30 ml". If you want to know how many "oz's" that is, simply look it up in the above chart. You will find that it works out to "1 oz".
